They always have beautiful/high quality meat here. I can’t compliment them enough. I’ve even heard that they have a supplier for their pork, which are raised in an orchard eating apples that have fallen from the trees and living a happy pig life. They really care about their meat, and it’s worth stopping by for either a meal, some deli meat (pate, brawn, rillette, you name it) or some of the best bacon you’ve ever had (not all bacon is created equal).
Also, they are very happy to talk to you about the ingredients if there are things that you can’t have. Very friendly and helpful… Not to mention a cool space.
My only aside is that their sauerkraut is sweet (which a German friend told me is not unusual), but I prefer my sauerkraut without any sweetness.
